The charity
The Roparun Foundation is a foundation dedicated to people with this terrible disease cancer and has as its motto: "Add life to the days, where no more days can be added to life'.
What started as the result of a bet, has grown to become a huge event. Over the past 20 editions, the participants in this running spectacular have collected € 50 million to care for people with cancer. The proceeds of the Roparun 2011 were € 4,901,078.00. The old record was thus again broken in 2011, and this was realized by around 275 teams.
